EBS TOMÁS DE BORBA VISITS OUR SCHOOL
During the first two days, we spent time doing the workshops in smaller groups. On the first day, half of our sixth graders and half of the students from EBS Tomás de Borba cooked while the other half painted. The next day, the groups switched so that everyone could participate in both workshops.
Our visiting students also had the opportunity to play some attention games that we use in our school workshops.
The fifth- and sixth-grade students learned more about Azorean gastronomy and culture through a presentation. They even brought us some things to try!

Our visit to EBS Tomás de Borba
The first day we attended a class with our host students, we did a presentation of our school and we were lucky to attend a traditional dance class to know more about Azorean's culture.
We started our second day with a walking tour around the city following the oldest Map know of Angra do Heroísmo. After that, we visited the Military Historic Museum, housed in the former Boa Nova Military Hospital, when we had the opportunity to create our own bookmark using "Sangre do dragon". Lastly, we enjoyed a picnic in the City Garden and had a guided walking tour around the more important buildings in the city.
Out third day start, once again, with a class. After that first our, we stayed in the school and attended a activity who helped us know more about the Azorean Island as well as Europe. We colaborated in the creation of a big map of Europe that will stay up in the host school walls.
On thursday, we took a bus to "Furnas do Enxobre", a geosite of the Azorean UNESCO Global Geopark. We also went golfing with all the host students and have a really great time. We finished the day visiting "Biscoitos", some beautiful natural swimming pools.
Our last day on the island started with some normal classes just before doing a presentation about our "Best Island Chronicles" showing everybody our experience at the Island throug images. We ate lunch at the school canteen and then walked around the city to the bowling alley where we had some time to enjoy together. Lastly, as a farewell wish we had a Pizza Party all together.
We really enjoyed our time spent together with the students and teachers of EBS Tomás de Borba and were very thankful for their great hosting!

EBS Tomás de Borba visits CEIP Plurilingüe do Camiño Inglés
Last week, we welcomed our partners from EBS Tomás de Borba. It was a very special visit since our teacher Lorena and Iria had been welcomed at their school the previous school year and back very happy with the experience. Therefore, having them at our school was a pleasant activity.
We started the week by developing a breakout around the school familiarize with the facilities and ensure that our visitors did not get lost.
Among other activities, we held a badge-making workshop, a stone-decorating workshop, radio interviews, and an assembly led by the Coexistence and Well-being Team, featuring the Azorean Students.
We also had time to visit our village and met the major. Doing tourism in Santiago de Compostela has become a "must" for our Erasmus+ partners, and so we did.
